I booked the train ticket from Chennai to Madurai for June 3 on the Pandian Express. On the IRCTC website, I paid the amount through UPI. Although the payment was deducted from my account, the ticket status has not been confirmed.

I want to share my terrible experience with Indian Railways and IRCTC so that others dont fall into the same trap.

I booked a train ticket through Goibibo for a journey from Ludhiana to Jaipur on 27th April 2024 (PNR No: 241270****). Not only was the train delayed by an entire day, but neither IRCTC nor Goibibo informed me about it.

I waited at the station for 2 hours before I found out via Google that the train was delayed by 24 hours.

I immediately filed a TDR to get a refund, and Goibibo told me to wait for 3 monthsan absurd amount of time! After months of chasing, calling, and emailing, my TDR was eventually rejected without any valid reason.

Now they tell me that IRCTC can't do anything if the particular department rejects it. This is outright fraudulent and shows a complete lack of responsibility and accountability.

If youre thinking of using Indian Railways or IRCTC, *dont*. They have robbed countless people by not refunding for delayed trains, and if youre unlucky enough to actually get on the train, be prepared for overbooking chaos.

Theres no authenticity, no customer service, and absolutely no respect for your time or hard-earned money.

Youre better off taking a sleeper bus, a shared taxi, or anything else but NOT Indian Railways.

To top it off, Goibibo doesn't take any responsibility either. This entire experience has been a nightmare, and I urge everyone to stay away from these services.

Strict action must be taken against your department. Both of us cannot get the same error message. You all should receive severe punishment.

Three ladies with child, all three seats are upper. So, there is a need to change the seat position or switch to the non-AC compartment.

All rubish covert activities going on through railway.

Subject: Complaint Regarding Late Train Departure and missed Interview

I am writing to express my disappointment and concern regarding the recent experience I had with the Indian Railways. On 26-06-24 on 14:30, I had a confirmed reservation for train 22685 departing from Yeswantpur Jn.

Bengluru to Chandigarh at 2:30pm. Regrettably, the train reached at Chandigarh at 23:30 hours late from the scheduled time, causing me to miss a crucial job interview and Lost the job, scheduled for 17:30 at Chandigarh Zirakpur. All my time and money wasted just because of late reaching at final destination.

As a result of this delay, I incurred significant inconvenience and missed out on a valuable professional opportunity.

I understand that delays can sometimes occur due to unforeseen circumstances, but I believe it is essential for the Indian Railways to take steps to minimize such occurrences and ensure that passengers are informed promptly and accurately about any changes to the schedule.

I would appreciate it if you could investigate the circumstances surrounding the delay of train No:22685 and PNR No: 491187**** on 28-06-2024 with 7 hours delay, and provide me with an explanation of the cause of the delay. Additionally, I kindly request compensation for the inconvenience caused, as missing the interview has had a direct impact on my professional prospects.

I have booked a train for the 18th of May with the PNR number 286214****. The next day, on the 19th of May, I received a message from IRCTC stating that the train was cancelled.

I assumed that the refund would automatically be credited to my bank account. Consequently, I booked another train for the 22nd of May hoping to get a confirmed ticket as I had done with my previous booking. However, this train was rescheduled. I would like a refund for the train with the PNR number 286217****.

I have sent numerous emails to the IRCTC email portal but have not received a satisfactory response.

I am unable to get through on their helpline number. Kindly assist as soon as you can.
